Social Media

Social media has become a new platform to connect with people throughout the world. Now more than ever social media is a polar source, for people can network daily. There are sites to share photos, videos, status updates, and sites for meeting new people and some in which you can connect with old friends. It has been proven that teenagers use sources such as twitter, Instagram, snap chat, and Facebook twice as more as adults. During my experience in my Broadcasting course as I asked many of the students at LaGuardia, how many hours they spent on social media weekly? Many of the responses were over one hundred and for myself personal I would include myself in that bunch as an adolescent.
